Documentation as a service

The binder nobody kept, kept properly.

Every asset in the building identified, photographed, and catalogued — and every document you already hold folded in beside it, so the record is one thing instead of nine.

Why it matters

The knowledge is real. It just is not written down.

It is in somebody’s head, in a filing cabinet, in an email from 2019, or on a label nobody has read since it was installed.

When that person leaves, it leaves. The replacement rediscovers it at your expense — a service call to find out what model something is, a part ordered wrong, a warranty claim missed because nobody knew there was one.

We photograph the nameplate, read the model and serial, note the condition and the location, and put it all in one place with whatever paperwork exists.

This is the least expensive thing we do and the thing most owners should do first. Everything else builds on it.

Deliverables

What you receive.

01

Asset inventory

Every identifiable system and fixture, with make, model and serial where the nameplate is legible.

02

Nameplate photography

A readable photograph of each plate, so a claim never rests on somebody’s transcription.

03

Condition notes

Plain observations at time of capture, with photographs. What we saw, not what we predict.

04

Document intake

Your manuals, permits, invoices and warranties collected and attached to the assets they belong to.

05

Location mapping

Where each asset physically is — and, on Professional and above, pinned in the 3D model.

06

Vendor handoff sheets

A single page on any asset, ready to send someone before they arrive on site.

Next step

Tell us about the property.

Send the address, the rough square footage, and what you are trying to find out. We reply with a scope and a number, usually the same day.
